

There are 3 different levels of classes available at the studio, along with an 'Intro to Pilates' class. The following is an outline of what to expect at each level of classes to help you decide which class is best suited to your needs.
Beginners - Intro to Pilates
this class is strongly recommended as the starting point for anyone who has never practised Pilates before. Using basic exercises the classes will introduce the main principles of Pilates at a gradual pace allowing you to become familiar with the techniques necessary to practise Pilates effectively.
Beginners
Beginner classes will follow on from the introduction to Pilates classes. You will learn the repertiore of beginner exercises while continuing to become more familiar with the principles of Pilates.
Beginner+
Beginner+ classes continue to use the repertiore of beginner exercises but gradually add challenge where appropriate in order to increase the strength, mobility and flexibility of the body and to prepare it to perform intermediate exercises. You will also start to look at some modified versions of the classical Pilates exercises. Focus will continue to be on good knowledge and application of the principles of Pilates.
Intermediate
Intermediate classes are aimed at those who have been practising Pilates for a while and are now familiar with all the basic exercises. You will have the strength and flexibility to perform more challenging versions of beginner exercises and to attempt intermediate level exercises including a range of the classical mat series. You will also be familiar with the principles of Pilates and able to apply them to new and modified exercises.
