"In ten sessions you'll feel the difference, in twenty you'll see the difference and in thirty you'll have a new body"
Joseph Pilates
I aim to teach classes that are fun, challenging and appropriate to the needs of the participants in the class. In order to do this I ask all new clients to complete a registration form which provides me with information relating to any medical history that might be of relevance, and also outlining your 'goals' for attending my classes.
Classes last 1hour and are limited to a maximum of 12 participants to ensure an appropriate level of client/teacher interaction
I welcome men and women of all ages and physical abilities (subject to approval from a medical professional where apprpriate). My classes are relevant to those who want to aid rehabilitation from a specific injury, those who want to tone and strengthen their bodies and improve posture and flexibility, and athletes who want to maintain a good balance in their exercise regime
I provide all mats and other equipment. You only need to turn up wearing clothing that allows freedom of movement. No special footwear is required (although socks are often preferable)
New clients should ideally start at the beginning of a six week block of classes. I ask all clients to commit to and pay for in advance, a six week block of classes. Pilates is a discipline that requires regular practise to see significant results
Unfortunately due to limited class sizes I cannot allow clients to 'make up' missed classes in subsequent blocks. However if you do miss a class during a block I will be happy to try to accomodate you in another class during the SAME six week block.
